立川北／Tachikawa-Kita
A connecting station on the north side of JR Tachikawa Station. Commercial facilities including department stores such as Isetan and Takashimaya stand in a row and form a large shopping zone. The National Showa Memorial Park, which is an 8-minute walk away, offers a variety of leisure activities throughout the year.
JR立川駅北側の連絡駅。伊勢丹や高島屋などの百貨店をはじめとした商業施設が立ち並び、一大ショッピングゾーンを形成している。また、徒歩8分の距離にある国営昭和記念公園では、年間を通じて様々なレジャーを楽しむことができる。
高松／Takamatsu
Located in Takamatsu-cho, Tachikawa City, there is a branch point towards the monorail vehicle base. In 2009, the surrounding landscape changed dramatically, with the opening of the Tachikawa City Hall and district court. Since then, commercial facilities such as IKEA Tachikawa and joint government buildings have been built on the south side of the station, and are still evolving.
立川市高松町に所在し、モノレールの車両基地へと向かう分岐点が存在する。2009年には、立川市役所や地方裁判所が新たに開庁するなど、周辺の景色が大きく変化を遂げた。その後も、駅の南側にIKEA立川等の商業施設や合同庁舎の建設が相次ぎ、今なお進化を続けている。
