玉川上水／Tamagawajosui
At the station connected to the Seibu Line, on the south side of the station is Tamagawajosui, which was made as a irrigation channel during the Edo period. The road along Tamagawajosui is green, and you can enjoy a walk in nature throughout the year.
西武線との連絡駅で、駅の南側には江戸時代に用水路として作られた玉川上水が東西に流れている。玉川上水の沿道は緑道になっており、年間を通じて自然の中での散歩を楽しむことができる。
桜街道／Sakurakaido
In the western part of Higashiyamato-shi, Tokyo, the name is derived from Sakura Kaido, which runs east and west just south of the station. On the east side of the station is the vast site of the Morinaga Milk Industry Tama Factory.
東京都東大和市の西部にあり、駅のすぐ南を東西に走る桜街道がその名の由来。駅東側には、森永乳業多摩工場の広大な敷地が広がっている。
